“I agree -BJP with a difference notion is gone. But, the internal differences prevail in all the political parties in the country and BJP also has no exceptions to this and in a political democratic system it has become a common thing- opined D.H.Shankarmurthy, the legislative council speaker here. He was replying to a question in the press conference held here today.

When asked about the way of sessions running in the council he told it is not fully up to the level. The running is of medium standard and the way of behavior and arguments should be improved he said.

“During S.M.krishna’s regime in the state I was opposition leader and even during the abduction of Dr. Rajkumar by Veerappan, we had presented our view in the sensible manner and that period of sessions was model -he recalled.

He disclosed that his term of M.L.C post will be ended by next June and he will contest in the southwest graduate constituency in the state for the 5th time.
