MADIKERI ALL SET FOR CARIAPPA BIRTHDAY

Madikeri is all set to celebrate the 113th birth day of Field Marshal K.M.Cariappa tomorrow and the whole town is filled with uniformed men.

Security checks are on as army officials, including the chief of army A.K.Singh will be gracing the occasion.

The programme is as follows;

The march past will begin from Fort premises after National Anthem at 8 am.

Assembling at Field Marshall Cariappa circle between 9.25 to 9.45 a.m.

General salute at 10.51.

General A.K.Singh will garland the statye of Cariappa at 10.52 to 10.54

Meeting with the retired official’s upto 11.15.

11.15 to 11.17 Forum president Col.K.C.Subbaiah will address.

11.17 to 11.19 Major Nanjappa will hand over a memorandum to army chief.
