RIGHT TO SERVICES ACT TO COME INTO FORCE

Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda today told that the Right To services Act will come into force to improve efficiency.
Addressing the gathering here after unveiling the statue of the freedom fighter Guddemane Appaiah Gowda and inaugurating multiple projects at a cost of rupees 49 crores, CM told that the government is committed to provide transparent administration. Speaking about the RSA, he said that about 162 departments in the state will come into its ambit and officials who fail to clear files will be levied penalty on daily basis. The penalty amount would be reimbursed to the applicants.
Sadananda Gowda informed that people can directly file their grievances to Vidhana Soudha through mobile message or through e mail at any time and the government will act upon it.
He opined that the priority of politicians should be social service and regretted that now it is changing into self service. He said that his government will change any such scenario and bring transparency.
Accepting felicitation and attired in kodava traditional “Kuppechale”, sadananda Gowda announced that Kodagu will be sanctioned a Medical College and the government will try to allocate fund for it in the next budget. He also informed that rupees 115 crore is earmarked for the development of Kodagu in the 2011 – 12 Blue print of the state. He assured to solve the problems of the district in stages.
Chief Minister received rousing welcome at his in laws house at Guddemane and he had lunch with the family members.
NANAIAH SUPPORTS SADANANDA GOWDA

MLC and leader of the JDS, M.C.Nanaiah today said that Sadananda Gowda need not consider his office of the Chief minister as temporary.
Addressing the gathering here after the Chief minister Sadananda Gowda inaugurated multiple projects, Nanaiah in his speach said the people of kodagu will support the Cm as long as he continues sincere service and told the Cm that ‘your seat need not be temporary and you have all the rights and ability to finish your term, Mother cauvery and rd Igguthappa, the local dieties will bless you”, nanaiah said.
However, Chief minister sadananda Gowda avoided any political references ezcept by stating that todays political priority has become personel gain and not social development.
Speaker K.G.Bopaiah however said that both Yediyurappa and Sadananda Gowda have contributed much to the development of the district and state.
