NAKOOR VOLKOT HOMESTAY

Karnataka, Suntikoppa

Description

About Us

Nakoor, (nalaku ooru) in Kannada means four surrounding villages, which over the years was anglicanised to Nakoor. Volkot was the surname of two Swiss brothers who traded coffee during the pre-independence era and owned this plantation, hence the name Nakoor Volkot.

Nakoor Volkot is set amidst a coffee, pepper and orange plantation. It is a secluded independent homestay with scenic greenery and close to the Harangi backwaters, which makes Nakoor Volkot a bird watcher's paradise.
